Hello! I’m Daniel Gourarye.
I’m a design engineer — I design the interface and then build it. Not a designer who hands off a file, and not an engineer who implements someone else’s: the same person makes the call about how a thing should feel and about how it actually runs in the browser.
That means the decisions hold. I shipped a bilingual site and the CMS behind it for a Tel Aviv production house, so their team publishes a new production without touching code. I designed and built an analytics product around a single question — does it work? — and an open component library that other developers drop into their own projects.
The craft I care about is the part users never name: type that sits right, motion that respects prefers-reduced-motion, a page that stays fast because the shader pauses when it scrolls offscreen. I’m looking for teams who want design and engineering in one head — and who care about the last ten percent.
